The Women do the U.S. proud in Moguls

The U.S. women took gold and bronze in the moguls, giving the U.S. their first gold medal of the Vancouver Olympics. Hannah Kearney, of Vermont, won gold after failing to medal in Torino. Shannon Bahrke, of California, took bronze. Jenn Heil, of Canada, won the first Canadian medal of the Olympics, taking silver.

If you didn’t watch the women’s moguls, make sure you catch the men’s. The races are so short but so exciting. I can’t believe that they’re expected to keep their knees together while they’re going down those moguls. It makes my teeth and head hurt just watching.

But for tonight, congratulations to Hannah Kearney!
