Medals 2/14
So, here are the medals we didn’t cover today:
Men’s single luge 4th run concluded with gold going to Germany’s Felix Loch, silver to David Moller, also German and bronze to Armin Zoeggeler of Italy. Times were still very good and the track was fast despite the efforts made to slow it down.

Luge track shortened
The Vancouver Olympic luge track has been shortened after yesterday’s tragic death of Georgian luge athlete Nodar Kumaritashvili, in spite of officials’ statements blaming the accident on the athlete. Luge Tragedy
Georgian Olympic luger Nodar Kumaritashvili lost control of his sled during training today, Feb. 12th. The 21yr-old’s sled hit the wall on a particularly difficult turn, throwing him off the track and into an unpadded steel pole. Kumaritashvili was pronounced dead shortly after at the hospital.
